It’s the New Beginning

“Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.”

Leo Tolstoy

We all commit mistakes. And in this mistake, we judge people easily. Like the government, they commit mistakes and judged by the citizens. I know that they want to change but they don’t know how to start it. By judging someone, that is a mistake. How could they change if we don’t give them a chance? A chance to correct their mistakes. How do you feel if they are judging you? It’s so irritable right? So, we must know the situation first before making a move. A great change starts from our selves. Everything that happens in our everyday lives has a reason. Maybe it’s a lesson for us or it will make us stronger. If we started the CHANGE in ourselves, we can be a model to everyone. A good model.
The whole thing changes. All we see and all we do are just temporary because time never stops. And when time moves, things from now follows and it will make a change. We must leave our old life and spring up to a new and better one. Remember this thing; JUDGING will never help you change hence it will just make you a sinner.

KANNAWIDAN

We are so fun of having a party or hang-outs with friends. And one of the interesting things that we must try is the festivals. Kannawidan is a culture and tradition festivity of Ilocos Sur. The City of Vigan celebrates it every year. In here, they can find the one town one product of the towns in Ilocos Sur, entertainment, et.al.
In this festivity, you can find happiness. You can witness the different activities which were planned by the government officials. There are also things that are eco-friendly which were made as cute as a souvenir. This festival is very significant to every resident of the province as they are celebrating the foundation of Ilocos Sur as a province by virtue of the Royal Decree on February 2, 1818. Every town in Ilocos Sur participates on the activities of the said festival like the Saniata Ti Ylokos. This is a pageant where different and beautiful contenders come from different towns. And there are also parades. Some artists are invited to entertain the people. And in this event, awards are given to those who have won in some contests and give pride to the province.

It’s so good to have one like this because in this way, we can show what we have. We can refresh the things from the history. Our traditions, cultures and things that is handmade. By this, the province can attract more tourists. Not only for attraction also to give them a different experience.

He Changed Me Alot

As they said; everything changes but in every change, there is always a reason. Yeah! Right! It is really true. Another year had just arrived and things last year are still in this New Year.

That saying a while ago had become my new inspiration in life. Last year, I’ve gone to a very hard life. Hard life in terms that there are so many stressful things happened like cramming projects, family matters and heart thingy. There are so many things that I want to forget which happened last 2013. Everything happens for a reason. Maybe God has a plan for me for those challenges that I’ve gone through. There is this guy, who’s my elementary crush. When there is a communication between us and I feel that he’s always there for me, I didn’t regret to tell him the truth about what I feel for him. I’m not scared of what his answer is. I will accept it wholeheartedly, whatever happens. Things come and go so easily. The flow between us is just fine but there is this one night that he confessed on me. I didn’t expect that. Phew!! Back when I was a child, I’m afraid of telling things about me. But because of what happen, I’m now so open to my friends especially to this typical girl who really knows me well. That guy really changed me a lot! I really love him for the way he treat me. He’s doing things in his own way. And he knows what the best is for me.

New Year? What a change?! It’s really a new me. I really thanked him so much and I don’t want him to leave me because he is the “new me”. I’ve changed for the best for him and I will not regret that I’ve changed. I love my life in the past but I must embrace my life now; for being true to myself. I don’t care if some hates me. All I know is I love myself now, I love him and I thank God that he sent this guy to me.

What a Change

English? Some don’t like to focus on it. Because of the grammar portion. I just don’t know why I eagerly want that the month for English comes fast. Maybe it’s because of their activities. Are you one of them who don’t love English a little bit?—ok! Discover how they made their activities more enjoyable. Not like the other activities that’s just kind of boring.
English is a West Germanic language that was first spoken in early medieval England and is now the most widely used language in the world. It is spoken as a first language by the majority populations of several sovereign states, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and a number of Caribbean nations; and it is an official language of almost 60 sovereign states. It is the third-most-common native language in the world, after Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. It is widely learned as a second language and is an official language of the European Union, many Commonwealth countries and the United Nations, as well as in many world organisations. English is tending to be known as the universal language. We can communicate well wherever and whoever we are talking with. Almost around the world are learning about the English language.
The English club of Ilocos Sur National High School conducted some activities to enhance the language ability of the students and to enjoy the English month. They had photo booth, parade of characters, spelling bee and other activities that has a connection to English. The students enjoyed the activities, especially the photo booth because there is a portion that they can send messages to their friends, crushes or love ones sent by the officers of the said club.
And now, I realized that how pretty to be in the English world. Because new things are discovered and new lessons are saved to my memory. How I wish that your thoughts about English had changed like mine.

The Whole Thing has Altered

What would you do if the ecstasy that God has given to as will turn out into a treacherous place for living?

Yes! It’s exactly unsafe. What I’m asking you is what exactly happening right now. Can’t you see or else feel what is happening? From a beautiful world that seems like to be a paradise, depreciates like a flower. It’s DYING!

People are getting bigger in number. Thus, more space will be needed. They cut trees and clear the wilderness for them to have space in building their houses and other establishments that they will be used in living. These past few months, we can see the changes in our mother-earth which is familiar in the name so called “climate change”. The natural calamities like floods, earthquake, tsunami, typhoon and the sudden change in temperature. The change in temperature is a virtuous citation for a climate change. Because of our erroneous did, the ozone layer come to be in a thin layer. That’s why we experience a high temperature. And because of those natural calamities, a great number of lives have been lost. Everything in this world has changed… even the people living in it also changed.

Do you like that more lives will be lost before you act? ---of course, all your answers are you don’t like. So, let us work on together to achieve a better changed and bring back the ecstasy that we have right from the start.

LOVE: Most Powerful of Them All

          "Yes! It's December".
          "It's getting cold!"
"Sparking lights all over town and children's carol in the air".
          "The streets are becoming busy".
Phew! People are excited for the Yuletide season. This is the time where families who are from apart get together. People attend mass at dawn before the birth of Jesus comes. There are a lot of things to be done this coming Christmas. That makes me feel tired by the things to be done and by thinking what our Christmas will be look like.
In our century, there are a lot of things happened. Disasters, economic changes, climate change, etc. had been experienced here in the Philippines these past few months; especially this November because a super typhoon had visited our country and destroyed almost everything. It virtually erased that affected area in the map. Nothing has left for the survivors. So, the government gives all what they can do for them to start again. As a result, we decided to celebrate Christmas in just a simple way and we donated some clothes that are just stocked there and give a little amount to them.

The real essence of Christmas is being loved and loving others. Even if you are the riches person in the world if your family is not complete; it’s inadequate. So, give love on Christmas day. Just remember the word L-O-V-E, that’s the real essence of Christmas.

Equality for Unity
We only have one creator. And that creator is no other than God. He treated us equally with no favoritism. In his eye, we are all equal; No tall or short, no rich or poor, no pretty or ugly. He loves us fairly.
“All of us are born naked”.
Do you know what does this phrase means? Well for me, this saying means that when we are born there is no rich or poor; there is this mighty word which is EQUALITY. You’ll get the point of this phrase if you will really focus on it. Right from the start when we are born, we have the opportunity and rights. The call for equal rights is a persuasive one. All people are created in the image of G-d, and no person, and certainly not a whole category of people, should be subjected to unjust and unequal treatment. And, it is claimed, Jewish women labor under just such inequalities. Women and men have equal but different missions in life, each pursuing their own path to holiness. For women to adopt the lifestyle of men is not only contrary to their nature and divinely given task, but betrays a lack of self-respect for their own dignity and worth.

When there is equality, it would be nicer. Everyone had their rights and opportunities. And in that case, they can do what they want without discrimination and hesitation because they are free now and everything will be fair.
